Snapletic LLC ("Snapletic," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website or engage our photography services. Please read this policy carefully. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Personal information you provide directly:
• Name, email address, and phone number submitted through our contact or booking forms
• Information about the athlete, including sport, age, and team or school affiliation
• Billing and payment information processed through our payment provider
Information collected automatically:
• Website usage data collected through Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, device type, and general location
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies used by these platforms to improve website performance and understand visitor behavior
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to inquiries and schedule photography sessions
• Deliver completed photos and related services through PhotoDay
• Process payments
• Send session reminders or follow-up communications
• Improve our website and better understand how visitors use it
• Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Photographs of Minors
Because we frequently photograph youth athletes, we take special care with images involving minors. We will not publicly share, publish, or use photographs of a minor athlete without prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Consent is collected as part of our booking process.
4. Biometric Data and Facial Recognition
Snapletic uses PhotoDay's FaceFind facial recognition feature exclusively during high-volume team photography sessions. FaceFind is not used for individual portrait sessions.
During high-volume team sessions, FaceFind analyzes facial geometry from photographs to match each athlete's face to their name and other photos taken during the session. This makes it faster and easier for families to locate their athlete's images within a large gallery.
The following apply to biometric data collected during high-volume sessions:
• Facial geometry data is processed and stored by PhotoDay, not by Snapletic directly
• It is used solely to match athletes to their photos and for no other purpose
• It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to train AI models for commercial purposes
• For minor athletes, explicit written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before FaceFind is applied to their images
If you prefer that facial recognition not be used for your athlete's photos during a team session, please notify us in writing before the session date. We will accommodate your request, though manual photo matching may result in longer delivery times.
Notice: Snapletic uses facial recognition technology during high-volume team photography sessions only. Biometric data is not collected during individual portrait sessions. By booking a high-volume team session, you acknowledge this notice and consent to its use, subject to the parental consent requirements described above.

5. Third-Party Services
Our website and services use the following third-party platforms that may collect or process data independently under their own privacy policies:
Squarespace Analytics
Used to track site performance and visitor behavior on our website.
Google Analytics
Used to analyze website traffic and usage patterns. You may opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
PhotoDay
Used to host and deliver photo galleries, manage orders, and communicate with families. When families access their gallery or place orders through PhotoDay, their data is subject to PhotoDay's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use at photoday.com. PhotoDay also provides the FaceFind facial recognition feature used during high-volume team sessions as described in Section 4.
Stripe
PhotoDay uses Stripe as its payment processor. When families purchase prints or digital products through a PhotoDay gallery, their payment information is submitted directly to Stripe and is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. Snapletic does not have access to payment card information entered through PhotoDay.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us. Biometric data retained by PhotoDay is subject to PhotoDay's retention and deletion policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of facial recognition during high-volume team sessions

8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. PhotoDay is SOC 2 certified, meaning their systems and data protection practices have been independently audited and verified. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
